- Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), included in CDM, shall be extended until 2030.
- LULUCF and REDD included under CDM: countries can implement LULUCF and REDD projects up to a maximum of 20% of their overall CDM projects.
- CDM shall be tied to the 'Gold Standard' certification scheme for increased transparency.
