The people of Bangladesh expressed great gratitude of for the disaster aid that
is committed to by the mentioned countries in the bilateral agreements!Bilateral agreement China & Bangladesh:
China contributes $30mln to Bangladesh for disaster aid to cope with damages and dislocated people from cyclone Mahase
China contributes $30mln to Bangladesh for disaster aid to cope with damages and dislocated people from cyclone Mahase
USA
contributes $50mln to Bangladesh for disaster aid to cope with damages, up to 1
million dislocated people and a refugee camp of 100.000 people that must be
relocated. In addition, the USA will provide disaster management knowledge.
Bilateral
agreement France & Bangladesh:
France
commits to contribute $5mln
Bilateral
agreement Germany & Bangladesh:
Germany
will contribute $15mln
In
addition, medical supplies, medicines and sanitation equipment will be
contributed
Lastly,
nutritional aid will be contributed.

In
addition, Japan will contribute crisis management expertise in the form of an
expert crisis management team.
