Bangladesh Bilateral agreements for disaster aid

Bangladesh disaster management aid committed to at the UNFCCC
There have been made bilateral agreements to provide aid to Bangladesh for coping with the recent disaster resulting from cyclone Mahasen.

The people of Bangladesh expressed great gratitude of  for the disaster aid that is committed to by the mentioned countries in the bilateral agreements!Bilateral agreement China & Bangladesh:
China contributes $30mln to Bangladesh for disaster aid to cope with damages and dislocated people from cyclone Mahase



Bilateral agreement USA & Bangladesh:
USA contributes $50mln to Bangladesh for disaster aid to cope with damages, up to 1 million dislocated people and a refugee camp of 100.000 people that must be relocated. In addition, the USA will provide disaster management knowledge.

Bilateral agreement France & Bangladesh:
France commits to contribute $5mln

Bilateral agreement Germany & Bangladesh:
Germany will contribute $15mln
In addition, medical supplies, medicines and sanitation equipment will be contributed
Lastly, nutritional aid will be contributed.

Bilateral agreement France & Bangladesh:
France will contribute $5mln

Bilateral agreement Japan & Bangladesh:
Japan will contribute $10mln
In addition, Japan will contribute crisis management expertise in the form of an expert crisis management team.

Bilateral agreement Russia & Bangladesh:
Russia will contribute $10mln
In addition, a special administrative region will be made available in Siberia.

Bilateral agreement India & Bangladesh:
India agrees to provide refuge for the relocation of the refugee camp struck by cyclone Mahasen.
