Brazil, Indonesia, Ecuador, China, Russia, Mexico, Bolivia, Nigeria, USA and Canada have formed the Green Forest Group to share knowledge and experiences on improved forest and peatland management. The contribution of each member state is at least 1 Mio US $ annually, amounting to budget of 42 Mio US $ in total, whereas Russia and Canada pay 5 Mio US $ and the United States and China 10 Mio $ each. The international community welcomes this initative and the contributions of the individual member states.
